Whisper STT is built on a fundamental privacy principle: your audio data never leaves your device. All speech recognition and translation processing happens entirely within your web browser using local AI models. We do not upload, store, transmit, or have access to any audio you process through our tool.

  • Audio files or recordings
  • Transcription or translation results
  • Microphone recordings
  • Personal voice data
  • Personally identifiable information
  • Account information (we don't have accounts)

Information We May Collect

We may collect limited, non-personal information through standard web technologies:

Analytics Data

We may use privacy-respecting analytics to understand general site usage patterns. This may include: page views, approximate geographic region (country level), browser type, device type, and referring URLs. This data is aggregated and cannot identify individual users.

Advertising (Ezoic)

Model Caching

The Whisper AI model files are downloaded from Hugging Face's content delivery network and cached in your browser's local storage (Cache API / IndexedDB). These model files do not contain any personal data. You can clear this cache at any time through your browser settings.
